WOW...a GSP vs. BJ fight would be incredible! BJ I think is the only man that can get inside of GSP's mental game. As far as that, GSP has peaked and he's proven it. If GSP doesn't let BJ get in his head, I think he can beat Penn. BJ will be fighting a different & much improved GSP. BJ has been at his best at LW but moving up to WW to fight GSP, I think GSP has every advantage accept for the groundgame. This would be one of the hardest fights to call.

2. BJDomination [Oct 11, 2008]

BJ has every advantage except for strength and conditioning. He\'s going to mess GSP up big time.

3. derek [Oct 11, 2008]

BJ has NO chance to defeat this man.

4. Zoupz [Oct 11, 2008]

Hes wearing an affliction shirt lol

5. chiggs [Oct 12, 2008]

Thats because hes a Affliction Sponsored fighter. And rumour has it hes not happy with his contract with UFC too..take that for what its worth thou....

6. Adam [Oct 12, 2008]

A-DUM ur funny, GSP will destroy BJ, u guys who nut hug BJ Penn better prepare 4 a devastating loss by GSP. GSP is 10X the fighter he was their 1st fight, BJ only imporved in cardio but BJ\'s cardio in 155lbs which is good, will not be nearly as good in the WW division b/c BJ will have to gain the weight, so therefore loses the cardio apsect which he definately desperately needs, but if he (BJ) decides to keep the same cardio for GSP, GSP will throw him around like a lil girl and hence the cardio will be all 4 nothing, b/c GSP is already way stronger than BJ, if BJ doesnt have the weight to keep the weight ADV that GSP has to a minimum BJ is done. GSP is a way better and a completely diff machine/animal. BJ beat GSP bad in the 1st round, only bc of the poke in the eye and the cut BJ gave GSP in the 1st, y do u think GSP took the fight to the ground in the 2nd and 3rd rounds? b/c he could only see out of one eye, YET he kept his composure and did beat BJ with one eye by take downs and controling the fight. I\'d love to see BJ stand toe to toe boxing style with the new GSP, omg BJ would get owned big time. Ask Fitch, GSP is soooo fast, precise/accurate and a very hard puncher, he will pound BJ if BJ wants to stand, I\'d cry laughing. GSP took BJ down at will in their 1st fight, and GSP is even better at takedowns and takedown defence. GSP is the top wrestler in all of MMA, not the most technical or smothest wretler, but hes jsut naturaly amazing at wrestling, not bad for a guy who has 0 wrestlng backround. I dont know any other athelete in any sport in which he dominates a certain aspect of his game with 0 backround in it. EX: Basketball players.... its like Shaq taking 3 pointers out of nowhere but being the top 3 pointer in the league. GSP was aksed to go to China in wrestling to represent Canada in his weight division, yet hes never \"wrestled\" for any real amount of time, nor has he joined or competed in any wrestling tournes around the world, but was asked to represent Canada in the Olympics. Name me another athelete whos country asked one of their \"citizens/atheletes\" to attend the Olympics in a sport where they have 0 experience in it, & to go and beat the worlds top wrestlers in the Olympics is unheard of, until this year. Reason y GSP didnt go to China was bc he had to defend his title VS Fitch, same time as the Olympics. ***OH for those who say GSP coulndt KO Fitch is bc Fitch has the chin of a cinder block if not titanium steel, he got spanked but took a hell of a beating, props 4 having the best chin ever seen. Anyone else who got tagged half as much as Fitch did would of been KO. BJ fought Pulver, Joe Daddy & Sherk.... WOW none of which had a chance VS BJ and everyone knew it, so hes fighting these jokes and how hes going to fight a new and improved GSP whos going to overwhelm BJ in every aspect, especially by always being on him, dictating the pace of the fight.

First off I am a huge GSP and BJ Penn fan, seconed anyone who thinks they can call this fight is out of there minds these r 2 of the top 5 fighters in the world and if theres 1 thing I no about mma its that anything can happen. GO GSP

10. Eric [Oct 20, 2008]

this is a tough fight to call but, going up to face anderson silva is a even harder fight to call, since anderson has destroyed every fighter he has fought, hasnt even gotten rocked, so i'd say GSP will lose against the best pound for pound fighter in the wolrd *The Spider*

11. Rayzach [Oct 20, 2008]

ADAM, Here's a newsflash for you GSP won the first fight and you can make all the excuses you want for BJ about his cardio but GSP has improved his game too and while we are making excuses for BJ you could say that GSP got poked in the eye in the first round and was basically fighting with impaired vision... The bottom line is they are 2 great fighters and we'll see what happens when the mix it up again...

12. Cheko_559 [Oct 23, 2008]

Bj is an all around good fighter but I think GSP will win the fight cuz he isn't the same fighter as before GSP has gotten way better

13. Anomaly [Nov 19, 2008]

kRiS-tYaHnk your talking about people hugging BJs nutts, why dont you take GSPs wang out of your mouth and poor some cold water on your GSP epeen!

14. LuckyJunior [Nov 21, 2008]

I've got GSP dominating BJ with his ground and pound in this fight. I think the'll give him Alves afterwards, which will be interesting, giving Alves knockout power... and than after that if Silva is still the champ then they'll set that fight up. As far as who will win... the only thing keeping Silva from being as complete as GSP is the quality of his wrestling, but with that reach GSP may not be able to get him down, and with the strength advantage he may not be able to hold him down... so it's really a toss up.

15. Azad [Dec 7, 2008]

I honestly don\'t think BJ stands a chance here. Judging by BJ\'s performance against Matt Hughes, who is owned by GSP, this fight will not last more than 2 rounds, imho.

17. Cipherion [Jan 14, 2009]

I think BJ's greatest strength/advantage in the ring is his striking. His ground game aside - he does the most damage with his striking. I think his plan for this fight is to stuff the take downs and bloody up GSP with his standup. I think GSP will win but if he loses it will be on his feet...not the ground.

18. kRiS-tYaHn [Feb 12, 2009]

Anomaly: I guess I was right about GSP pounding BJ & sorry Triffan, I knew all along BJ had 0 chance VS GSP, the BJ fans are either stupid or u have no idea about "improving" GSP is 100X the fighter BJ is now, BJ has natural skill, but GSP improves each & every fight. After that ass beating he gave BJ, theres no doubt in my mind that GSP is the #1 P4P fighter in the world, no question. Not just bc he beat BJ whos also considered a top P4P fighter..... well he was, not anymore. The winner of that fight had a real good chance of being the best P4P in the world, but the fact GSP owned BJ definately puts him #1 no questions asked. Ya Fedor & Anderson have been on a tear of late, but they have nothing on GSP with regards to their resume of fighters and GSP has been fighting for 4 yrs and 2 months as of feb of 2009, this is his 5th yr in the UFC & look at who he beat and how much of a wrecking machine he has been on since that loss to Serra.... GSP in 4yrs owned, Karo Parisyan, Jay Hieron , Matt Hughes X2, Jason Miller (underated, hes sick), Frank Trigg, Sean Sherk, Matt Serra, Josh Koscheck (out wrestled a top wrestler, welll owned him in every aspect especially wrestling) "GSP said hes going to out wrestle me... Josh Coscheck? LOL" OUCH!!! Jon Fitch 2nd best WW in the world & got schooled big time, but credit 2 Fitch amazing chin, but amazing chin was all he had, love to see Fitch fight Alves again or BJ.... and then BJ Penn twice only fighter to have beatin BJ 2 times & the 2nd fight was a bigger ass whoooping than Fitch, which was almost impossible to think GSP could do that 1 way beating again... let alone to BJ Penn, WOW hes on a wayyyy diff level than 95% of MMA fighters in the world... ifu can find me a better resume of fighters in their first 4 yrs and 1 month in the UFC I'll B ur slave 4 life.... but u wont so no bog deal..... only fighter to have wins over each and every fighter he has fought in his carreer, WOW hes only 2 fucking 7 yrs old & was/is WW champ twice already, thats sick. One lil interesting fact of many I know.... but this stat is pretty impressive..... out of GSP's 20 fights he has fought about 152 mins in the UFC & approximately 23 mins out of the UFC, therefore in 175 mins of figthing in 20 fights (18-2) gsp has been on his back less than 6 mins,.,.... thats right LESS THAN 6 mins on his back.......therefore GSP avgs 29 secs +-1sec.... on his back. Again in 175 mins approx, GSP has spent less than 30 secs on his back per fight, & that also means GSP avgs 9:15 mins per fight..... less than 2 rounds @ 5 mins each...... GSP spends on AVG less than 30 secs on his back per fight, which also AVGS out @ about 9 mins & 15 secs per fight......so the way u have 2 look at it is........ in less than 2 rounds (10 mins) GSP spends less than 30 secs on his back, thats for 20 fights, 14 in the UFC, thats incredible....almost impossible if u know anythign about MMA, especially with the talent GSP has fought. Can u imagine if GSP foguth half the tomatoe cans Hughes did while he defended his WW title?!? GSP would be like Fedor 30-2, but the fact GSP has crushed every fighter he has fought, which most of them were either in the top 10 in the world in their division "WW" or a champ(s), past champ(s), #1 contenders etc Ya i am a huge GSP nuthugger 4 life, #1 Fan/Nut sucker, licker, hugger.... whatever u want to call it, I dont care. MY GF knows i have a "man crush" on him, its all good. At least I can admit it, love GSP hes da man & the best fighter in the world OHHH YAA BABY PHHH YAAA!!!! GSP! GSP! GSP! P.S BJ when u go to bed & see GSP beating the fuck out of you, wake up, look in the mirror & think about how much of an ass/embaressment u made out of ur self with all that talk & disrespect u couldnt even back up 1 word, let alone months of BS.... after u stop crying for a couple of hours... go back to bed and "GO FUCK UR-SELF" lol FAT ASS!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO
