i dont think his techniques will work, either you would already have him in a gillotine choke and not need a take down, or he is in position to do a double leg takedown
10. Olaf [Dec 21, 2008]
Ok your a fucking moron. Front headlock is one of the most common positions in grappling, and you can just "do a double leg takedown" when you in it.

lol these tips don't seem like they would be very effective under mma rules. an active opponent would hang his hands to prevent knees and disable attempted take downs from that position.

its takedown techniques now taekwodo techniques mate. can you spell dyslexic?
15. Darryl [Mar 11, 2009]
The control of the chin is important to prevent the double leg from the opponent in the headlock. All good tips and some stupid comments. When you don\'t know ... learn and say nothing computer geeks.

is there danger of breaking the guys neck on the last throw?
17. Jonny [Apr 14, 2009]
Not with the arm in. It will provide stability to the neck. If you threw someone like that by just their neck, yeah I would say that is very dangerous.

It's all about repetition and technique... And actually practicing... Any type of throw or takedown can be useful depending on the opponent or the situation...
