i dont think that slapping someone that you dont know is approriate and professional, he may be a humble guy, but from what i have seen on the show he showed no class, if your going to be on a show like ultimate fighter you should conduct yourself accordingly.

The editors of Tuf certainly could have done a little magic to make Karo look bad so the show would be more dramatic. If they did,than Karo was done a big diservice. If it went down anything like it was portrayed than Karo did himself a big diservice. I replayed it a bunch of times, and the kid initialy had an "aw shucks" look like he was in awe of Karo. It appeared like Karo was trying to press some buttons. Just comes a point where people don't want to be messed with, even if it means taking a little bit of a beating. Karo was my favorite MMA fighter and I was always talking him up to my friends. I just don't know what to say now, its not as simple to explain away as I would like

It looked like two meat heads trying to act tough on TV. Both fighters should have shut up and sat down. Now Parisyan looks like an idiot for trying to beat up on someone smaller than him. We don't even need to get into whole ego debate with Karo's remarks about "who he is"...Nobody outside of MMA knows who he is, he needs to chill out.

Naw, you are way off. Karo looked like a big dumb animal on the show. You don't talk down on man, slap him in the face, and treat him like he is less than you and not expect a backlash. Yeah, real brave Karo, pick on a guy way smaller than you. A title shot for Karo? Why? Who has he beat in the last year? The only notable fight was against Diego (Unanimous Decision for Diego...). And I woldn't say either guy started it. Having seen that episode more than once, I think Karo was running his mouth for no reason, and he tried to punk Nate. Nate didn't back down, even though he was outweighed by at least 15 pounds. In the words of Nate Diaz himself..."Better than being in the shaddow of Karo Parisyan, that'd suck." I'm sure they hyped it up cause that's what they do to get ratings, still doesn't improve Karo's IQ into double digits.

idk im not knocking karo he's a good fighter, one of the top contenders but im sure that nate would have kicked his ass even tho he was smaller than him, we've yet to see nate in an actually good fight, but from what i know he is better nick in a lot of ways. bottom line is that karo is getting weaker every fight and there is way too many fighters comming in nowadays (pride fighters) for karo to stay in contention with the title.
